Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

AVANT L�INSTALLATION
ACTIVATION DU MODE ECO (ECONOMISATION D�ENERGIE)
Le réglage de l�appareil sur le mode de l�économisation d�énergie permet de réduire la consommation d�énergie. Appuyer plusieurs fois sur DEMO/ECO (l�appareil étant éteint) jusqu�à ce que �ECO MODE� s�affiche. L�affichage disapparaît et l�indicateur sur la POWER s�allume.

Pour mettre l�appareil en marche
Appuyer sur une des touches de fonction (TAPE, TUNER, AUX/ VIDEO, CD). La lecture du disque ou de la cassette en place commence ou bien la station écoutée en dernier est reçue (fonction de lecture directe). La touche POWER est aussi disponible.
Arrêt de l�appreil
Appuyer sur POWER. Lorsque l�horloge est réglée, l�appareil reviendra au mode ECO (économisation d�énergie) ou bien à l�affichage de l�horloge selon le réglage avant d�allumer l�apppareil. Si le précédent réglage était celui du mode DEMO, dans ce cas aussi, l�appareil reviendra à l�affichage de l�horloge. � Si l�horloge n�est pas réglée, l�appareil reviendra donc toujours au mode DEMO.
Mode DEMO (Démonstration)
Lorsque le cordon d�alimentation est branché, la fenêtre d�affichage montre les fonctions de l�appareil. Lorsque l�appareil est allumé, l�affichage DEMO est remplacé par l�affichage du mode d�opération en cours.
Pour annuler la mode DEMO
Appuyer sur DEMO/ECO. Pour réactiver le mode DEMO, appuyer plusieurs fois sur DEMO/ECO jusqu�à ce que les fonctions de l�appareil apparaissent dans la fenêtre d�affichage.
Mode DIMMER
Appuyer deux fois sur DEMO/ECO l�appareil étant allumé. L�affichage est assombri que d�habitude, appuyer une autre fois sur DEMO/ECO pour rétablir l�affichage normal.
Utilisation du casque
Brancher le casque sur la prise PHONES au moyen d�une minifiche stéréo (ø3,5 mm). Lorsque le casque est branché, le son des enceintes est coupé.
