Very clear scan, I recommend it. Definitely a must have for any 3362 owner.
Alpine could have written a slightly more complete manual, though. It's already pretty huge, but the unit has so many functions, I feel some more explanation would have been better.
Yamaha's manual of their comparable YDSP-1 is a little better in my opinion.

Correct manual received and of good quality but the contents of the file for the Service Manual for the same monitor is for a 20" TV not the RGB Monitor.

Adjusting the surround sound
You can select the simulated surround effect depending on the disc contents. If you connect the unit to your stereo system, you can enhance sound quality and produce a greater surround effect.

The sound effect (3D PHONIC) is possible only on discs which are recorded in DOLBY SURROUND or DOLBY DIGITAL. However, some DOLBY SURROUND or DOLBY DIGITAL discs do not contain the rear sound signal, in this case, the setting can be changed but the sound effect cannot be obtained. You can change the setting of the discs which do not contain the rear sound signal, but the sound effect cannot be obtained. The sound effect is not possible, and will not work even if set when the unit outputs the DTS or Dolby Digital bitstream signal from the DIGITAL OUT jack. The sound effect will not be set or operate, even if 3D PHONIC is pressed, on the sound of DVD discs recorded in Linear PCM. When you set the 3D PHONIC function to on, the DOWN MIX and COMPRESSION setting in the PREFERENCE 2 display and settings in the SPK.SETTING are disabled.
