Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Régler ce paramètre correctement lors du raccordement de l�appareil à un décodeur ambiophonique externe ou à un convertisseur N/A. (Il est inutile de régler ce paramètre si l�appareil n�est pas raccordé à un tel dispositif.) � Lors du raccordement à un décodeur Dolby Digital, sélectionner [DOLBY DIGITAL/PCM]. � Lors du raccordement à un décodeur DTS, sélectionner [FLUX/PCM]. � Lors du raccordement à un autre équipement numérique, sélectionner [SEULEMENT PCM].

Si un menu apparaît sur l�écran du téléviseur
Lors de l�insertion d�un disque DVD VIDEO, SVCD ou CD Vidéo, un menu peut apparaître sur l�écran du téléviseur. A partir du menu, un élément souhaité peut être sélectionné pour être lu. Pour DVD VIDEO 1 Appuyer sur 5/�/2/3 pour sélectionner un élément souhaité. 2 Appuyer sur ENTER. L�appareil commence la lecture de l�élément sélectionné. Pour SVCD/CD Vidéo Appuyer sur les touches numérotées pour sélectionner l�élément souhaité. L�appareil commence la lecture de l�élément sélectionné.
Pour faire réapparaître l�affichage CONFIGUR. LECTEUR DVD
Appuyer sur CHOICE quelques secondes jusqu�à ce que l�affichage CONFIGUR. LECTEUR DVD apparaisse.
Pour modifier la luminosité de l�afficheur
Appuyer sur et maintenir DISPLAY. La luminosité de l�afficheur peut être sélectionnée à partir de trois niveaux. Relâcher DISPLAY au moment de la luminosité souhaitée.
REMARQUES
� Ne pas insérer un disque illisible. (Voir page 2.) � Lors de l�insertion d�un disque dans le tiroir à disque, bien le positionner dans le retrait. Sinon, le disque pourrait être endommagé à la fermeture du tiroir à disque, ou son retrait de l�appareil pourrait être impossible.
A propos des PBC (Contrôle de lecture)
Certains disques SVCD/CD Vidéo prennent en charge la fonction PBC. La fonction PBC permet de profiter du fonctionnement par menus et d�images fixes à haute résolution qui ont une résolution quatre fois meilleure que les images en mouvement. � Pour lire un disque SVCD/CD Vidéo compatible PBC sans activer la fonction PBC, appuyer sur les touches numérotées au lieu de 3 pour commencer la lecture. � Pour réactiver la fonction PBC, 1) appuyer sur TOP MENU ou MENU, ou 2) appuyer sur 7 pour arrêter la lecture, puis appuyer sur 3.
