Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.
An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

INSTALLATION
«Das Kühlgerät wurde während der Fertigung auf Dichtheit geprüft». Sollte dieses Kühlgerät mit magnetischem Türverschlu� an Stelle eines alten Modells mit Schnappverschlu� angewandt werden, empfehlen wir diesen Schnappverschlu� unbrauchbar zu machen, bevor Sie das alte Gerät beiseite stellen. Dadurch wird einer Gefahr für Kinder vorgebeugt, die sich beim Spielen einsperren könnten.
Elektrischer Anschlu�
Schlie�en Sie das Gerät durch Einstecken des Steckers in eine ordnungsgemä� geerdete Steckdose an. �berprüfen Sie bitte, da� die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebene Spannung, sowie Frequenz mit dem Anschlu�wert des Hauses übereinstimmt. Eine Abweichung von ± 6% von der Nominalspannung ist zulässig. Für die Anpassung des Gerätes an andere Spannungen mu� ein Transformator angemessener Leistung vorgeschaltet werden. Sollte die Netzleitung im Haus nicht mit einer Erdleitung versehen sein, so mu� das Gerät an eine getrennte Erdleitung vorschriftsmä�ig angeschlossen werden. Die Erzeugerfirma lehnt jede Verantwortung ab, falls diese Unfallverhütungsvorschrift nicht beachtet wird. Dieses Gerät entspricht der EWG-Richtlinie Nr. 87/ 308 vom 2.6.87 bzw. der �VE-Richtlinie Nr. F 61/84 bezüglich Funkentstorung. Dieses Gerät entspricht der folgende EWG Richtlinie: - 73/23 EWG vom 19/02/73 (Niederspannung) und folgende �nderungen; - 89/336 EWG vom 03/05/89 (Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit) und folgende �nderungen.
Aufstellung
Das Gerät sollte nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie Heizkörpern oder �fen aufgestellt und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt werden. Die beste Leistung erzielt man erfahrungsgemä� bei Raumtemperaturen von +18°C bis +43°C (Klasse T); +18°C bis +38°C (Klasse ST); +16°C bis +32°C (Klasse N); +10°C bis +32°C (Klasse SN). Die Geräteklasse ist auf dem Typenschild angegeben. Für den Einbau bitte den entsprechenden Abschnitt durchlesen.
Reinigung
Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, beseitigen Sie den typischen «Neugeruch» am besten durch Auswaschen mit lauwarmem Wasser und einem milden Reinigungsmittel. Bitte keine Scheuermittel verwenden.
