Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. Set the timer to the hour and the minutes you want the music to go on. 1 Turn the jog dial to set the hour and press ENTER�YES. 2 Turn the jog dial to set the minutes and press ENTER�YES.

Set the timer to the hour and the minutes you want the music to go off (Do as step 5.). Turn the jog dial to set the volume you want, and press ENTER�YES. Press STANDBY. �TIMER PLAY� lights up; the player enters the standby mode. At the preset time, the power will go on and music will play. Then the power will go off at the preset time, and the player will enter the standby mode again.

Tips � To exit the standby mode, press STANDBY to make either �TIMER PLAY� or �TIMER REC� disappear from the display. � The preset settings remain until you reset them. � As long as the t indication appears in the display, the player is in timer mode.

To check/change the waking up timer settings Press TIMER, then press ENTER�YES. Each time you press ENTER�YES, a stored setting is displayed in the set order. To change the setting, display the setting you want to change and re-enter it. To use the player before a timer playback starts If you turn on the player, you can use it as usual ( in case of the radio, if you listen to the station which is different from the one you tuned in step 1 on page 44, you will hear that station at the preset time.) Turn off the player before the preset time. To stop play Turn off the power.
