Feeler Gauge
Shims - 9 4 Push the carrier to the far left. Using a feeler
Front of Print Head Metal Shield

gauge, measure the gap between the front of the print head and the metal shield on the paper guide. Subtract the right gap clearance from the left gap clearance. � If the difference is a positive number, install a shim. � If the difference is a negative number, remove a shim.
