This is a top quality manual. You couldn't get better if you had the original and scanned it yourself. Best price on the net as well. Diagrams are clear and complete, text is sharp and easy to read. Granted you don't get the manual the second you click pay, but the few hours you have to wait for it to be available for download isn't a problem at all. This is a very reliable company.

Excellent service manual, i didn't believe i could find it for such old product, it is very explanatory, managed to fix the disk player!!!
2. Installation of the Board
2. Set the switches and connectors on the board (BKSI2041 and BKSI-2042 only). 3. Attach the model label supplied with the connector panel in the chassis near the slot to install the board. n After the connector panel is inserted into a slot, the slot label cannot be seen. 4. Insert the connector panel to the matching slot and secure the panel by the two screws which installed the blank panel to the SIU-80.
Information for inserting slot BKSI-2041 Insert this connector panel into the No.1 slot. Use this panel a pair with the root controller BKSI-2040 (plug-in board) which is inserted into the No.1 slot in the front of SIU-80. m � When Server Management System has the multiple SIU80s installed the IDC boards, the root controller BKSI2040 is installed in the only one of SIU-80s. Therefore the other SIU-80s does not necessarily pair BKSI-2041 with BKSI-2040. (Refer to �3-2. Connection of IDC Link�.) � There�s no need to pair this panel with the root backup BKSI-2040 which installed in the No.2 slot in the front of SIU-80. In this case, the No.2 slot in the rear of SIU-80 is empty. BKSI-2042/2043/2044 These connector panels are inserted into any slot No.1 to No.8 in the rear of SIU-80. Use each panel a pair with device controller BKSI-2040 which is inserted in the front slot of SIU-80. n Insert these panels into any slot No.3 to No.8, when the root backup BKSI-2040 is installed in the No.2 slot in the front of SIU-80.

When remove the connector panel, turn the power off and remove the power cord plug from the receptacle, and then remove the panel in the reverse order of steps 1 through 4. n To remove the connector panel, pull the right and left handles on the connector panel until the connection with the mother board is sufficiently loose, then pull out the connector panel gently.
