This is the 2nd time I download manuals from this website and I can say it's what I was expecting. It contains schematic, layout (decent quality), short description, parts and dissasembly instructions. I recomend it for anyone who wants to repair/modify this device.

Very useful Service Manual! With it I was able to identify the damaged pots in my old amplifier, purchase the adequate replacements and make myself the repair.
I have again my old amplifier, still a very good one that I will keep for as many years as I can!

Noise appears on the playback screen. No broadcasting signal received
YES Is noise diminished by tracking adjustment. YES Noise band is trembled up and down? YES Is there CTL pulse at IC501 pin#97? YES Is there problem in CTL Input Check IC501. circuit and amplifier. YES Check C510,R545~R547 IC 501 pin #91, 92, 98. Is there Video output at P100 pin#1? YES Check Video Buffer Q670, Q671 NO Check P100 NO Is the height of CTL HEAD normal? No dust? NO Re-adjust the height of AC HEAD. Remove the dust. YES Is Video Signal input at IC501 pin#56? NO Check IC301. NO Noise appears on the screen even though changing tape. YES NO Re-adjust PATH. Is the output at IC501 pin# 61(CLK), 60 (DATA) normal? YES Is SIF,Video output at TMI(RF101) pin#16,19 normal? YES NO Check TMI (RF101) Block. NO Check IC 501.
