INSTALLING THE BATTERY AND SIM CARD
Installing the battery Place the battery pack in the housing as shown in the figure. The silver label on the battery should be facing downwards; make sure that the contacts on the bottom of the battery rest on the contacts of phone. First tilt the battery towards the antenna (step 1), then press the opposite end of the battery downwards so that it rests against the base of the phone (step 2a). Once the battery has been installed, replace the cover inserting it from the bottom keeping parallel to the phone, then push it towards the antenna until it clicks, as shown in the figure below (step 2b).

To take out the battery, first make sure the phone is switched off: remove the battery cover by pressing down on the catch while sliding the cover towards the bottom of the phone; then lift it clear. Take the battery out, gripping it by the part that protrudes above surface of the telephone. Only connect the battery charger when the battery is installed in the phone.
