EMIT-N� MK II Tweeter
CAR AUDIO
Thank you for purchasing a pair of Infinity Kappa EMIT-N� MK II Tweeters. You�ve selected a premium car audio product that offers extended high-frequency response, advanced materials, and a compact size to fit virtually any interior location. Kappa EMIT-N MK II Tweeters are easy to install. Each one is housed in an attractive surface-mount enclosure with grille and is equipped with an attached color- and terminal-keyed wire pigtail. For flush-mount applications (see back page), a pair of flush-mount clips and cups are included.
IMPORTANT Installation of automotive stereo components requires extensive experience in dealing with a variety of mechanical and electrical procedures. If you do not feel you have the experience, do not attempt the installation yourself, but instead ask your Authorized Infinity Car Audio Dealer about professional installation options.

Surface-Mount Installation
1. At the chosen site, use the surface-mount bracket (with two holes) or template (see Figure 1) to mark locations of mounting holes. A 5 �16" diameter feed-through hole is required to pass the tweeter wires and pre-attached terminals. Make sure the proposed hole will not extend beyond the tweeter�s boundary. 2. Use a hole punch to create drilling guides. Clear away any carpet or other material prior to drilling. Use a drill with 5 �16" bit to create a feed-through hole at each tweeter location. Then use a 1 �8" bit to drill two mounting holes. 3. Fasten each surface-mount plate with supplied screws. Route wires from a crossover through each feed-through hole, and connect each pigtail. 4. Carefully align the openings on the back of each tweeter with the tabs on the surface-mount bracket. Slide each tweeter down on its plate to lock it into place, as shown in Figure 2.
