Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.
DEPISTAGE DES PANNES
Des erreurs de manipulation sont souvent prises pour une défaillance ou un mauvais fonctionnement. En présence d�une difficulté apparente, prière de passer en revue les points suivants. Comme la difficulté peut également provenir d�un autre composant, on examinera ceux-ci ainsi que les autres appareils électriques utilisés en même temps. Si l�on ne parvient pas à porter remède à la difficulté, prière de s�adresser au centre de service ou au concessionnaire PIONEER le plus proche. Symptôme Aucune alimentation n�est fournie à l�appareil. Cause probable � Une des fiches du cordon d�alimentation est débranchée. � La fiche d�alimentation du composant a été branchée dans la sortie d�alimentation d�un autre composant (par exemple minuterie, etc.) mais l�alimentation à cet appareil est coupée. � L�interrupteur STANDBY/ON est placé sur la position STANDBY. � L�interrupteur MAIN POWER (�OFF/_ON ) qui se trouve sur le panneau arrière est placé sur la position OFF. Pas de son. � Les cordons de branchement sont déconnectés au niveau des bornes. � Les cordons ne sont pas raccordés correctement. � Les bornes ou les fiches à broches des cordons de connexion sont sales. � Le fonctionnement des autres composants est incorrect. Par exemple: Sur un ampli-tuner, les réglages de haut-parleur sont incorrects, le sélecteur d�entrée n�est pas réglé correctement, les réglages de sortie sont inexacts ou le volume est complètement réduit. Sur un lecteur DVD, les réglages sonores sont incorrects, etc. � Le disque utilisé ne comporte pas de sons sur ces canaux. Remède � Veillez à ce que les deux fiches soient branchées. � Mettre sous tension l�autre appareil.
� Appuyer sur le commutateur STANDBY/ON pour le régler sur la position ON et éteindre l�indicateur STANDBY. � Réglez le bouton MAIN POWER (�OFF/ _ON ) sur ON (sous tension). � Les brancher fermement. � Effectuez correctement les connexions (Fate riferimento alla pagina 13). � Nettoyer les bornes et les fiches. � Consulter le mode d�emploi des autres appareils.
� Vérifiez le format du disque que vous utilisez.
Un fonctionnement anormal de cet appareil peut être dû à l�électricité statique ou toute autre interférence externe. Pour que l�appareil fonctionne à nouveau normalement, l�éteindre et le rallumer, ou débrancher le cordon d�alimentation CA et le rebrancher.
