I found the manual to be clear concise and complete. It was of immense assistance when removing the unit as the unit was over 22 years old and the wiring diagram was unobtainable from the manufacturer. The exploded drawings were clear as were the instructions and labels.

AGITATOR BRUSH
Brush Checking
1. Replace the agitator brush if brushes are badly worn. Lay a straight edge across the base supports and rotate the agitator brush dowel. The brushes should extend past the brush supports.
3.4.2.
Agitator Assembly Replacement
1. Remove light cover and light lens, (see Bulb Removal & Replacement). 2. Remove nozzle cover, (see Belt Removal & Replacement). 3. Remove old agitator assembly. 4. Discard the old agitator assembly. 5. Replace new agitator. 6. Replace the nozzle cover, screws and light cover, (see Belt Removal & Replacement).
