Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.
Elterliche �berwachung (DVD)
Einstellen einer Einstufung und eines Passwortes Sie können das Abspielen bestimmter DVDs, die für Kinder ungeeignet sind, verbieten. Einige DVDs enthalten eine Einschränkungsebene, die es Eltern ermöglicht, Szenen zu entfernen oder Abspielen von Discs durch Kinder zu verhindern. Ihr DVD-Spieler hat einen Passwortmechanismus, der Kinder am �ndern der Stufe hindert. Auswahl einer Einstufung Ihr DVD-Spieler hat acht Einstufungen. Stufe 1 sorgt für die strengsten Beschränkungen beim Fernsehen.
Hinweise: � Einige DVDs sind nicht mit einer Einstufung verschlüsselt, obwohl die Spielfilm-Einstufung auf das Disc-Etui aufgedruckt ist. Bei derartigen Discs funktioniert das Einstufungskonzept nicht. � Wenn Sie die Stufe ändern und ein Passwort eingeben, wird die Wiedergabe aller DVDs mit einer höheren Einstufung als Ihre Auswahl gesperrt, es sei denn, Sie geben das korrekte Passwort erneut ein. Beispiel: wenn Sie die Stufe in 5 abändern, spielt der DVD-Spieler keine Discs mit der Einstufung 6, 7 oder 8 ab, es sei denn, das korrekte Passwort wird über die Fernbedienung eingegeben. 1 Drücken Sie SYSTEM MENU. 2 Im Setup-Menü drücken Sie 4 zur Wahl von 3
�PASSWORD�, dann drücken Sie OK. Geben Sie ein 4-stelliges Passwort in �OLD� (beispielsweise 1234) ein.

�RATING�, dann drücken Sie OK. Hinweis: � Das Passwort ist auf 1234 voreingestellt. Die Einstufungsvorwahl lautet UNLOCK (entsperrt).
4 Geben Sie ein neues 4-stelliges Passwort in �NEW� ein,

2 Geben Sie das standardmä�ige Passwort (2580) ein, dann
drücken Sie OK. � Ihr 4-stelliges Passwort wird gelöscht. WICHTIGER HINWEIS! Benutzen Sie nicht �2580� als Benutzerpasswort, weil es sich hierbei um des Herstellers Standardcode für die Rückkehr zur Ausgangseinstellung handelt.
5 Zum Beenden drücken Sie SYSTEM MENU.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS! Einige DVDs können ein Passwort von Ihnen verlangen, wenn sie eine höhere Einstufung als die von Ihnen festgelegte haben. Wenn Sie auf diese Bedienerführung treffen, geben Sie Ihr Passwort ein. Bei DVDs, die nicht die Bedienerführung �PARENTAL VIOLATION� aufweisen, müssen Sie die Einstufung höher einstellen, bevor Sie die gewünschte DVD abspielen können (vgl. �Auswahl einer Einstufung�).
