This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Turning off the beep sound
You can turn off/on the beep sound on the recorder and the remote control.

The backlight of the display window of the remote control can be set to remain on or off.

Enter the menu and select �Option� �Beep�. Slide the jog lever repeatedly until �Beep Off� appears in the display, and then press the jog lever to enter the selection.

While the recorder is stopped, enter the menu and select �Option� �Backlight�. Slide the jog lever repeatedly until the desired item appears in the display, and then press the jog lever to enter the selection. Setting The backlight lights when you operate the recorder or the remote control, and automatically turns off when no operation is made for a few seconds. The backlight lights when the recorder is operating. The backlight stays off.
To turn on the beep sound Select �Beep On� in step 2.
