Follow steps 1 to 4 of �To remove a memory module.� Remove the memory module from its packaging. Install the memory module.

Tighten the screw on the bottom of the computer. Turn on the computer. Click the Start button, point to VAIO, and click �Sony Notebook Setup.� The Sony Notebook Setup screen appears.
