I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. Getting started
Making the connections
Connect the AC power supply cord only after all other connections have been made.
Connect the speaker cords.
Connect the left (L) side in the same way
Connect the XM Passport MiniTuner and Home Dock (sold separately).

XM Passport Mini-Tuner and Home Dock To prevent interference with wireless equipment, place the antenna away from other equipment that emits radio waves (such as radio equipment and microwave ovens). For optimizing the reception, \ page 12.
Connect the AM loop antenna.
Stand the antenna up on its base.

Connect the AC power supply cord.
For your reference To save power when the unit is not to be used for a long time, unplug it from the household AC outlet. You will need to reset some memory items after plugging in the unit. Note:
