To replace, align the battery with the battery compartment so the contacts on the battery match the battery contacts in the phone. 1 Insert the battery, printed arrow first, into the battery compartment and push down. Insert the ridge at the bottom of the battery housing into the base of the phone, then push the cover down and snap it into place.
