The users guide was excellent. It provided the information neeeded to connect and control the Crate system. Nothing was left to chance
Enter a note as follows: Task Change the octave Action Set the new octave (1, 2, or 3) before selecting the note. The octave applies to all following notes until you change it again. Press a keypad key. Enter a sharp or �at (# or b) after selecting the note. Some sharps and �ats are played as standard notes. For example, B# is the same as C. Press to scroll to valid notes when entering a new note. Set the new length (q, h, or w) after selecting the note. The length applies to all following notes until you change it again. Enter one or more rests (R characters) as needed in the tone sequence. Set the length of the rest by entering a q, h, or w character after the rest, just as you would for a note. Press M to enter the Compose Menu, and select Play All to play the notes you have entered.
