Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Note: The programme stops to �Rinse Hold� at the time the �Rinse Hold� button light flashes. Terminate the �Rinse Hold� option: � Press the �Rinse Hold� button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the final spin cycle for the present wash programme. � If you do not wish to spin the clothes, turn the programme selector knob to the drain programme and press the �Start/Pause� button again. �Spin Speed Reduction� button � Every programme has an automatic predefined maximum spin speed. � Press the button to set another spin speed. � If the spin speed �0� is selected, the final spinning is cancelled. The water is drained out only.
START DELAY
The �Start Delay� allows to run the machine at the consumer�s convenience, for example at night when electricity is cheaper. � � � Press the �Start Delay� button to select the delay time by 1 to 19 hours; Press the �Start/Pause� button. The �Start Delay� light flashes until the programme starts. The time delay indication disappears when the programme starts and it�s replaced by the remaining time.
Prewash cycle increases programme duration by approximately 15 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60 456. The data on the �Energy Label� refer to programme �Coloured Cotton 60° C�. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. * The remaining time indicator can similarly deviate from the values in the table, because it takes into account the household conditions applicable at that time. ** To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.
� The number of hours preselected can later be reduced pressing again the �Start Delay� button. To cancel the �Start Delay�. � Turn the programme selector to the � � position. � Reselect the desired programme and options and press the �Start/Pause� button.
ADD DETERGENT, CLOSE THE DOOR AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME
Add the detergent as described in the chapter �Detergent and Additives� in the booklet. 1. Turn the programme selector knob to the desired programme. � The remaining time display shows the duration of the chosen programme (in hours and minutes) and the pilot lamp of the �Start/Pause� button is flashing. 2. The programme sequence and the predefined spin speed indication corresponding to the selected programme lights up. 3. The recommended temperature (see the indicator) can be altered by pressing �+� or �-� button.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the �Start/Pause� button. The pilot lamp of the �Start/Pause� button lights up. The indicator lamps show the sequence reached in the programme. After starting the programme, the sequence indication runs from left to right through Wash, Rinse, Spin. When the sequence of the programme is finished the corresponding lamp goes out.
DOOR LOCK
During the first 15 minutes of the cotton and synthetics programmes the door can be opened for adding further laundry. This is not possible if �Rapid Wash� is selected. The door can be opened when the �Door Free� indication is shining.
PRESS ANY DESIRED OPTION BUTTON(S). The pilot lamp lights up.
An audible tone sounds if the combination of programme, additional options and temperature is not possible. Unsuitable combinations of options are deselected automatically. �Eco Wash� button � The duration of the wash is extended and the temperature reduced to save up to 40% of energy maintaining good washing results. �Rapid Wash� button � For quick, economical washes. Ideal for minimum loads of lightly-soiled articles. �Prewash� button � Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand, granular dirt) sensible. The cycle time increases by approximately 15 min. �Intensive Rinse� button � A further rinse cycle is added. � This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water washing baby linen and helps people with allergies. �Rinse Hold� button � The laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to the final spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing. � This option is particularly recommended for the programme �Synthetics� or �Delicates�. � This function is particularly useful if you want to postpone spinning to a later time.
PROGRAMME END
� 1. 2. 3. The remaining time is on �0:00� and all the lights of the programme sequence indication are off. A short audible tone sounds three times. Turn the programme selector to the � � position. Turn the water supply tap off. Open the door and unload the machine.
CHANGE THE PROGRAMME, TEMPERATURE, OPTIONS AFTER PROGRAMME START
1. Press the �Start/Pause� button to pause the programme. The light flashes. 2. Select the new programme (with temperature), any options and another spin speed if you want it. 3. Press the �Start/Pause� button again. The new programme continues at the same position where the previous programme was interrupted. Do not add detergent for this programme.
TO CANCEL A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END
1. 2. 3. Press the �Start/Pause� button to pause the programme. The light flashes. Set the programme selector to �Drain�. The spin indicators show �0� and the remaining time shows 2 minutes. Press the �Start/Pause� button to start the drain programme.
