1. Tape Speed Adjustment Settings : � Test tape : TTA � 100 (Tape center) � Test point : Phones Jack (J101) � Adjustment location : SFR301 � Dolby<AE ONLY> : OFF � DSL : OFF � Tape selector : NORMAL (AUTO) � Volume : Non � clip (MAX � 10 dB down) Method : Play back the test tape and adjust SFR301 so that the frequency becomes 3015 Hz ± 10 Hz. Then confirm WOW is less than 0.50%.
2. Dolby Level Adjustment<AE ONLY> Setting : � Test tape : TTA � 200 � Test point : TP1 (LCH), TP2 (RCH), � DSL : OFF � Tape selector : NORMAL (AUTO) � Dolby SW : OFF � Volume : MIN � Adjustment points : Soldered patterns �~ � Procedure : Short the patterns via solder as shown in the table so the Dolby NR level is 32 mV ± 1.0 dB. Adjust so the specifications are satisfied in both the forward and reverse directions. Connect 10mF/16V coupling capacitors between test points and test equipment (connect the terminals to the test points).
